I have 20 years' experience in the kitchen industry and am used to helping many clients with varying requirements in style, size and budget.
The last 11 years I have been working from Bath, with clients all over the South West. Prior to that I was based in London, with clients from both London itself and the Home Counties.
One of the biggest lessons learnt over that time is how essential it is to recognise that people’s needs and wishes differ widely, and how very important it is to meet each client's personal and individual requirements.
Dixon and Grey is run with the whole aim of doing just that, whatever the client's ideas and wishes.
We also aim to make sure that the end result is attractive, efficient and within budget - whether the style is classic, contemporary or even quirky.
The process will begin with a showroom consultation where I will start to get a feel for your requirements, style choices and room size.
We will then come back to you with your bespoke kitchen design concept and, if you like what you see, we will then progress to the full kitchen design stage, where I or one of my team will visit your house to measure the space and confirm that the concept will work in reality.
Then it’s just the small matter of installation, which can also be fully arranged by us.

This was our first ever new Kitchen investment, so we trawled the usual "TV advertised" big showroom brand kitchen suppliers and had a good idea of what we could achieve with our budget and were prepared to go down that route. However, we were recommended to go and see Jamie at Dixon & Grey who has a beautiful showroom right in the High Street in Nailsworth and as I expect most people working to budget would, we assumed quite wrongly that their quality kitchens would be beyond our budget. They weren't. What we got instead was to meet the owner Jamie who was just a delight to talk to and made the whole experience really enjoyable. It was clear right from the start that Jamies' main objective was that all of our expectations in regards to design, quality and price were met. His agenda was totally ours. What we appreciated most was that we had one point of contact throughout who had the authority experience and good manners to make decisions in our favour and guide us through what actually is quite a daunting experience. Jamie is very well connected so would often recommend other suppliers to source products that he either couldn't supply or were out of our budget, which is another example of him working for our needs and not his own. So happy were we with Jamie's service, we also asked him to provide all of our appliances, which we are going to source ourselves, but the difference in price was negligible and he took away all the worry of timings, storage and logistics. With regards to the actual Installation, Jamie introduced us to a local tradesman Dean Gore, who visited our home prior to the install date and just made us feel at ease right away. He clearly had a 'can do' attitude and we were not disappointed when it came to start the installation. The quality of workmanship, good humour at our constant pickiness and speed of work was extremely impressive. Dean was in our home for 5 days and you need to get on with someone for that length of time. And we did. Jamie also visited our site nearly every other day and was there with us on completion.

Jamie was a pleasure to deal with and excelled in his customer service with us. We nearly placed an order with a well known large kitchen chain, but are extremely happy that we didn't! Jamie was involved the whole way through, measured up and kept us up to date. We didn't have to chase anything. Jamie even popped round on Bank Holiday Monday within 20 minutes of us phoning him to check out the kitchen fitting when we thought we had a problem (we didn't in the end). Our kitchen fitter was very impressed with the quality of the units and how none of the order was damaged. Apparently this is rare! I honestly cannot recommend Dixon & Grey kitchens enough. We had seen Dixon & Grey Kitchens in Nailsworth many times when walking past and thought how lovely it looked, so we decided to go in and have a chat with Jamie and we are so glad we did! He listened and understood everything we needed from our kitchen, he came out and measured up, then went back and put a plan together. I remember mentioning a specific part I would love to have in my kitchen and there it was in the plan. We went through lots of options for doors, worktops, etc., as well as adding a few cheeky extras. Nothing was too much trouble. Jamie makes this process not only stress-free but an enjoyable experience from start to finish. He is hands-on throughout the process, ensuring an outstanding finished product. The quality of the kitchens is amazing and at an affordable price (comparable to most of the usual known high street brands but a better quality). We have recommended Dixon & Grey to our friends and am pleased to say they have been in and are also going to use them. We cannot recommend this company enough! We had Dean who is the main installations crew and nothing was too much trouble for him. We left him to it and went to work knowing our install was in the best hands. It was like having a friend in our house instead of someone just fitting a kitchen. Fabulous company and fabulous people!

All aspects of the project ran smoothly thanks to Jamie who made sure he listened to what we required and guided us in choosing the right kitchen. The kitchen is of a very good quality and very competitive in price compared to some of the major suppliers, plus the service is so much better.
